Supply Teachers Needed for Secondary Schools in Wigan
Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible work opportunities? We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our team, providing essential cover across secondary schools in Wigan.
About the Role: As a Supply Teacher, you will step into various classrooms, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. This role offers you the flexibility to work in different schools, gain diverse teaching experience, and make a positive impact on students’ education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of subjects.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to new classroom settings and school environments.
- Provide support and encouragement to students, helping them stay engaged and on task.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain continuity of learning.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and year groups.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Experience in secondary education is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
