Supply Teachers – Southampton Area
Start date: March 2026
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Southampton and the surrounding areas. This flexible role is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy variety, value work–life balance and want the freedom to choose when and where they work.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).
- Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons and managing the classroom effectively.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- A flexible, adaptable, and professional approach.
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and school policies.
Your Role in the Classroom:
- Delivering engaging lessons in line with school expectations and lesson plans.
- Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Ensuring pupils remain on task and supported throughout the day.
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Providing feedback to school staff at the end of each day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
