Contract Type: Temporary, flexible working (1-5 days per week)

Location: Bracknell and surrounding areas

Salary: £140-£160 per day

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking fully qualified teachers or experienced cover supervisors to join our team as Day to Day Supply staff. This position offers flexible working hours, allowing you to work between 1-5 days per week according to your availability. As a Day to Day Supply Teacher/Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, maintaining classroom discipline, and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff.


Key Responsibilities:

- Delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects and year groups, following school policies and schemes of work.

- Managing classroom behavior, ensuring a calm and focused environment conducive to learning.

- Adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment.

- Building positive relationships with students, promoting engagement, and fostering a love for learning.

- Collaborating with school staff to ensure smooth transitions for both students and colleagues.

- Following school policies and procedures, including marking and assessing student work.


Requirements:

- Fully qualified teacher (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification OR experienced cover supervisor.

- Proven experience working in a classroom environment, preferably within the UK education system.

- Excellent behavior management skills with the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and subjects.

- Organizational skills to ensure effective delivery of pre-prepared lessons and activities.


Salary and Benefits:

- Competitive daily rates ranging from £140-£160, dependent on qualifications and experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
