Day-to-Day and Full-time Supply Teaching

Location: North Manchester, Oldham & Rochdale
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel is seeking strong, flexible, and reliable Supply Teachers to join our team for both immediate and September starts. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education and looking for a flexible, rewarding way to work in secondary schools.

As a Supply Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences — keeping lessons on track, supporting students, and ensuring a positive classroom atmosphere.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects.

  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a calm, productive environment.

  • Supporting students with learning tasks and questions.

  • Being dependable, punctual, and communicative with both schools and Teaching Personnel.                       

 

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in any subject.
  • Experience working with young people (school, youth work, tutoring, coaching, etc.) – preferred but not essential.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Confidence in managing classroom behaviour.

  • A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
