Supply Teacher Opportunity in an Outstanding Chichester School
Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Start Date: Immediate / Flexible
A highly regarded co-educational Church of England Secondary Academy in Chichester, West Sussex is seeking a fully qualified and adaptable Supply Teacher to join their team.
This role is ideal for passionate teachers who enjoy variety, value flexibility, and want to make a meaningful impact by supporting continuity of learning across secondary classrooms.

The Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching to students aged 11–16 during periods of staff absence, ensuring learning continues smoothly and effectively. You will be expected to confidently lead the classroom, deliver pre-planned lessons, adapt teaching where appropriate, and manage behaviour in line with school policies.
You may also be required to provide additional support to students with special educational needs, ensuring an inclusive and positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Fully qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification)
- Experience teaching secondary-aged students (11–16)
- Confident, flexible, and professional classroom presence
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- A genuine enthusiasm for education and supporting young people’s development
Working Hours / Benefits
