Job Details

Job Title: Primary School Teacher
Start Date: 8th April 2024
Pay: £157.66 per day
Basis: Full-Time

We are looking to for Newly Qualified/Fully Qualified Teachers to work with us on a day-to-day supply basis covering the needs of several schools across the Caerphilly area.

We are looking for someone who thrives on challenge, is highly organised, able to lead others and committed to obtaining the best value for our pupils. For this position, you will need to be competent and confident in teaching from nursery to year 6.  

We are seeking excellent practitioners who have:

  • The ability to inspire children to have a love of learning
  • High expectations and a drive to raise standards
  • Enthusiasm and a commitment to professional development
  • Total dedication to the inclusion of all pupils
  • High aspirations for developing pupil participation in the planning process of learning
  • A keen interest in extra-curricular activities
  • A clear understanding of skills-based curriculum, in particular the Literacy and Numeracy Framework
  • The ability to contribute to the development and improvement of the school as a whole
  • An understanding of teaching children with additional learning needs

Essential Requirements

  • Child only DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council
  • 2 School Based Professional References

Fully Qualified Teachers & Newly Qualified Teachers are more than welcome to apply for this position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
