Supply Teacher - Derby

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit short and medium term supply teachers for our partner secondary schools in Littleover, Etwall, Wadlincote and Alvaston. We will have opportunities at all the secondary schools in these areas to work as a flexible supply teacher dependant on your availability.

One of the partner schools has recently moved in to a brand new modern new build with state of the art facilities and teaching aids. The role of a supply teacher involves covering a permanent member of staff delivering pre set lessons, ensuring that students complete their work, remain on task and are controlled in class. We will have work available on a flexible part time basis if you are looking to work from 1 to 5 days per week or on a block placement of up to half a term.

As a short term supply teacher you will be provided with the opportunity to continue your passion for teaching without the additional planning and marking responsibilities, applications are welcome from teachers looking for more flexibility or parents who are looking to return to the classroom on a more flexible basis.

If you are located in the Derby or surrounding areas Teaching Personnel work with a vast number of schools in the across the East Midlands.

To be eligible for the role of supply you will need to have qualified teacher status in the UK, experience of teaching in the UK, suitable school based references and an eligibility for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
