Supply teacher - Catholic Secondary Schools

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting staff members looking for flexible teaching work in the Liverpool LEA.

If you are someone who is looking for full time or part time supply work and would like the opportunity to work within a number of 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Roman Catholic secondary schools then we encourage you to get in touch.

Teaching Personnel are currently the preferred supply agency to schools within the Liverpool Archdiocese. Due to an increase in cover requirements, a number of our catholic secondary schools found within the Wigan authority wish to expand their pool of supply teachers.

  • Supply teachers required for daily/weekly cover requirements
  • Opportunity to work within a number of high achieving Roman Catholic secondary schools in Liverpool
  • Earn up to ÂŁ550 per week (experience dependant and position undertaken)
  • Market leading education agency situated in Central Liverpool
  • Your own dedicated consultant to liaise with throughout your time working with Teaching Personnel

There will also be long term opportunities with potential of earning permanent positions leading into the next academic year.

Our 5 client schools located across Bootle, Fazakerley, Woolton, Garston and Kensington and all achieve excellent results well above the national average and have an excellent reputation for pupils behaving in a conscientious and respectable manner. As a supply teacher within these schools you will have the opportunity to teach rather than just manage behaviour.

Any teachers interested in this opportunity are required to;

  • Hold QTS status (11-16 or further education accepted)
  • Ideally have their own form of transport (Not essential but preferable due to some schools requesting staff at short notice)
  • Be respectful of the Catholic Ethos of our client schools

Interviews are starting soon, if you are interested in this position and have the relevant qualifications please send your CV to or call Greg at the Liverpool Primary Branch on 0151 244 5430 for more information
