Supply Teacher needed at a secondary school in Old Trafford

Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School in the heart of Trafford who are looking for a full time Teacher to join their team after the Easter holidays, until December. The working hours for this role are 8:30am-3:30pm.

The school have a large cohort of extremely welcoming and friendly staff who are very supportive and are looking forward to having an additional member on their team.  The location of the school is easy to commute to via public transport, as it is a 10-minute walk from the nearest tram stop. Additionally, someone with access to a vehicle would be able to utilise the large staff car park.

The position has various responsibilities and successful applicants should anticipate having a good working relationship with all school departments to follow engaging lesson plans and structures to ensure the highest outcomes for students. Though no marking or lesson planning will be expected out of school working hours, we are looking for teachers who have had recent experience doing so.

Additional requirements:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (any subject)

-          Experience covering or delivering lessons or work to KS3 and KS4 students previously

-          Outgoing and confident in ability to build relationships with students

-          Ability to start after the Easter holiday and hit the ground running

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
