Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Supply Cover Supervisors to cover secondary schools in the Wallasey area, Wirral for day to day as well as long and short term roles.
Becoming a Supply Cover Supervisor gives you the flexibility to work around your own personal schedule. You can have your diary with us specified to your preferences. Whether you are looking for specific days, day to day, long or short term roles we would love to hear from you.
Being a Cover Supervisor is a wonderful experience and opportunity for anyone who wants to become a teacher. It gives you valuable experience and imperative behaviour management skills. You will cover a variety of subjects and no day is ever the same! You find that you also learn and develop your own skills through this role.
An ideal candidate might have;
- Previous experience as a trainer within their company
- Had experience with interns or apprentices
- Experience teaching or supporting students aged 2-19 years old
- Valid DBS on the update service(or be willing to apply for one)
- Own transport or ability to use public transport
- A passion for education and learning
- The ability to inspire and lift others up
- A positive attitude
- Experience working with people with challenging behaviour
- Resourceful
- The ability to engage students
- Ability to accurately follow lesson plans and instructions
An ideal candidate might have or previously had experience in;
- Experience working in a school or care setting
- Experience with persons of 2-19 years of age
- Valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
- Own transport or ability to use public transport
- A passion for learning
- The ability to inspire
- A positive attitude
- Experience working with people with challenging behaviour
- Personal experience supporting persons with Special Educational Needs is invaluable
- Sports Coaching, Carer background, Social Working or Performing Arts
