Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Subject Specialist Teachers to work across secondary schools throughout South Yorkshire. We are looking to speak with passionate and enthusiastic teachers who are looking for flexible day-to-day supply, short-term, or longer-term teaching opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs looking to build classroom experience, as well as experienced teachers seeking greater flexibility around their work.

The Role

As a Subject Specialist Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons within your specialist subject.
• Teach across KS3 and KS4, depending on your experience and the requirements of the school.
• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of different learners.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Assess and monitor student progress where required.
• Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Adapt your teaching to support a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Contribute positively to the wider school environment.

We Are Looking For

We welcome applications from:

• Qualified Teachers with QTS
• ECTs looking to gain further classroom experience
• Experienced teachers seeking flexible or supply work
• Overseas-trained teachers with relevant UK teaching experience or qualifications
• Teachers with strong subject knowledge and a passion for education

You will need excellent communication skills, a positive approach to classroom management and the ability to adapt quickly to different school environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
