Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Are you a recent STEM graduate looking to kick start your career in education?

We are working with a number of schools in search of STEM graduates to enhance support and teaching to their pupils in STEM specific subject areas. Students are extremely curious and impressionable about the word around them, and schools are increasingly developing their teaching methods and approaches to instil and interest at an early age, sparking q long lasting desire to pursue future opportunities in this field of work. It is also important that schools have an ample amount of teachers and support staff who are experts in STEM, and these subjects should always be considered as high demand subjects.

We are finding that schools value support staff who graduated in a STEM subject or wish to transition from a STEM-related career. If you are interested in becoming a teacher and you have studied chemistry, biology, physics, calculus, engineering, or any other STEM subject, you will be a great asset to a school.

STEM Unqualified Teacher -- About you:

We require applicants to have a minimum of a 2:2 in a STEM related degree, with strong A Levels ideally in a relevant field. Prior experience working with young people would be a great advantage but is by no means essential. You should be looking to gain experience and have your eyes set upon a teacher training course in the future with the dedication and motivation to achieve in education.

We are currently looking for STEM graduates for unqualified teaching roles in the Portsmouth and surrounding area. Ideally you will be available full time, although part time positions may arise.

If this sounds like an interesting opportunity for you, then you should register your interest straight away! Interviews are being planned for as soon as next week so ensure your name has been shortlisted by sending your C.V

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
