Sports Specialist Teaching Assistant for Special Educational Needs (SEN) School

Do you have a sports background? Would you like to make a difference in the lives of young people? Have you always wanted to work in education? If yes then this is the role for you!

We are looking for a sports specialist teaching assistant to work in a pupil referral unit. The role would suit someone passionate about sports and re-engaging young people in their education.

The school provides education and support for students for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school supports pupils aged 12 - 19 years old who have left mainstream education.

The ideal candidate:

  • Sports background - passionate about sport and P.E
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Some experience of supporting social, emotional and mental health (SEMH)
  • Worked in a school or education setting

The school is very supportive and can offer further training, qualifications and support for staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
