Are you a graduate of sport seeking to work with secondary schools?
A secondary school in Hartlepool have recently identified a gap for a sports graduate who either has an interest in teaching in the future or is someone who is confident and flexible enough to support with lesson delivery and general Teaching Assistant duties for when schools re open.
Sports Graduate Role;
- Full-time position available for a Sports Graduate.
- This is a rare opportunity to work closely with the schools PE department and support the school with classroom cover where a teacher is absent.
- Expected pay of GBP1100-GBP1250 a month whilst gaining key skills that will contribute to a career in teaching in the future.
- The incoming staff member must come from a sports background or have a degree in Physical Education.
- March 2021 start
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to secure employment on a temporary basis in a supportive secondary school that is committed to the future development of all staff.
Roles will include;
- Leading classes and warm-up activities in the absence of the class teacher.
- Organising and putting away equipment before and after each lesson of PE.
- Setting up lessons of PE as specified by the main class teacher.
- Covering lessons for other departments within the school.
