Join a small secondary school in Stockport seeking to appoint a Sports Coach on a full-time basis with an immediate start date. The successful candidate will cover PE sessions and a range of other support areas including English and Maths.

This is an unqualified teaching role which will provide those considering a teacher training course in the future with the ideal experience. If you have previous experience working with young people within an educational capacity this is an excellent opportunity to secure a full time position.

Main responsibilities of this role:

-          Deliver engaging sports and PE sessions to pupils across Key Stages 3-4, alongside the class teacher and or independently where required.

-          Deliver pre-planned lessons within other subject areas in the absence of class teachers, where applicable.

-          Support the delivery of extra curriculum sporting activities and sessions.

-          Positively manage behaviour in accordance with school behaviour policies.

This popular secondary school is situated in Stockport on the boarder of Manchester with accessibility via the M61 and public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas. With just over 600 pupils on roll, the school is smaller than average and therefore has a close knit community feel. Due to the location, the school serves a diverse community welcoming students from a variety of backgrounds.
