Job description

Full-time Sports Coach with general cover responsibilities required for a Bolton based secondary Academy, from September 2020.

Due to an influx of pupils expected to join the Academy in the new academic year, this smaller than average Academy require a flexible Sports Coach to deliver PE sessions, and also partake in general cover requirements as required. This position will initially be offered for one term, with the potential of extension past this.

-          Full time Sports coach including general cover responsibilities required for a Bolton based secondary Academy, September 2020.

-          Opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Academy.

-          Must hold relevant experience working with young people to be considered.

-          Earn up to GBP1200+ per month.

The responsibilities for the incoming Sports Coach with general cover responsibilities will include;

-          Deliver engaging sports and PE sessions to pupils across Key Stages 3-4, alongside the class teacher and or independently where required.

-          Deliver pre-planned lessons across the curriculum in the absence of the class teacher, where applicable.

-          Work with pupils 1:1, in small groups and within a classroom setting.

-          Positively manage behaviour in accordance with school behaviour policies.

Located at the border of Farnworth nearing Bury, this well respected Academy is perfectly situated to be accessible via the M61 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Wigan, Salford and Chorley. Public Transport links are also easily accessible, with the Bus and Train station a few miles away from the Academy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
