Sports Coach

An exciting opportunity within a secondary school near Swinton to support pupils aged 11-16 within the PE department.

• Full time Sports Coach role.
• Required from September 2020.
• Earn up to GBP350 per week, depending on your previous experience.
• Supporting pupils aged 11-16 within PE lessons.
• Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school.

Our client school have specifically requested that applicants have sports coaching experience as these skills will be highly transferrable for this role.  The incoming candidate must have some form of sports related experience with children or young people are necessary. This role is ideal for recent graduates considering a role in PE teaching in the future.

The successful applicant will be expected to work alongside senior members of staff within the PE department and support teachers with monitoring and evaluating pupils’ attainment. The incoming Sports Coach may sometimes be required to supervise lessons in the teachers absence – all work will be pre-set.

Our client school is located near Swinton and is easily accessible via the M62/A58 from the surrounding areas such as Bolton, Worsley and central Manchester. Alternatively, for candidates who do not have their own vehicle, our client school is accessible via public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
