We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bootle seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to join their team from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on children's lives, promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and confidence through sport.

‍♂️ Role and Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Lead engaging sports sessions that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and enjoyment
• Organise and run extracurricular clubs (e.g. football, athletics, dance)
• Support pupils of all abilities, adapting activities to meet individual needs
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage participation in physical activity
• Assist with school sports events, competitions, and inter-school fixtures
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support the wider curriculum
• Ensure pupil safety and wellbeing during all physical activities
• Maintain equipment and ensure resources are used safely and effectively

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with primary-aged children in a sports or coaching capacity
• A recognised coaching qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)
• A positive role model with excellent communication and organisational skills
• A team player who can work collaboratively with staff and contribute to school life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
