Location: Huyton, L36

Position: Teaching Assistant (EYFS, KS1, KS2 & SEN 1:1)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Flexible, Day-to-Day Supply

Salary: £13.75-£14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

 

Are you a passionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across Liverpool? We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals who are confident supporting pupils across all primary phases, from EYFS to KS2, and comfortable providing 1:1 support for children with additional needs.

This is an exciting and rewarding role, supporting different children and staff around multiple schools in Liverpool, making a real difference in the lives of young people.

Prior qualifications aren’t necessary for applying however CPDs may need to be completed before confirmed start dates in the schools.

 

About the Role:

  • Day-to-day and short-term assignments available across a variety of primary schools
  • Support pupils in EYFS, KS1, KS2 and SEN settings
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support
  • Opportunities to work 1:1 with pupils with EHCPs or additional needs
  • Ideal for someone seeking flexibility and variety in their working week

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting
  • Confident supporting children across different age groups and abilities
  • Experience with SEN (including 1:1 support) is desirable
  • A positive, proactive and nurturing approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
