Speech and Language Teaching Assistant – South Liverpool

Teaching Personnel is working with a partnership special school, to provide additional staffing to cover gaps in the timetable and to support the opening of a new, additional classroom. For this reason, Teaching Personnel is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting speech, language and communication needs into a school within South Liverpool for  January 2021.

The Job:

• To work within a primary aged class, within a special needs school, to support the development of young people with speech and language needs
• To support the class teacher and work alongside other staff members, to provide an inclusive and personalised curriculum
• Work with outside agencies such as therapists, to enhance communication skills
• Full time or part time availability will be considered; Monday to Friday, Term Time Only, 8:30 – 3:30 daily

• An inclusive special needs school in South Liverpool for 2-16 years old with a range of moderate and complex learning difficulties
