A client primary school of teaching Personnel have had an opening to employ a specialist behaviour support TA in Key Stage 1. The school in Miles Platting (M40) is a much larger than average school and boasts a Good OFSTED report from their most recent inspection.

Behaviour within the school isn't said to be an issue but they are wanting to take this measure to ensure that potential disruption within Key stage one can be kept to a minimum by having an additional adult within those classes. In terms of the role it won't be working In a 1:1 capacity, but the ideal candidate will be expected to take small intervention groups for literacy and numeracy with pupils who have minor special educational needs. The pupils have a range of needs from ASC to ADHD but all are said to be manageable with adult supervision.

The school are ideally looking for someone who has prior experience of working with SEN, but also delivering intervention to the groups of children. Any past experience in the education sector is mandatory and previous PRU or SEN experience is desirable to the school.
