About the job:
- You will be employed by Teaching Personnel, teaching in schools around Doncaster. We welcome teachers from all backgrounds with different specialisms, be it core subjects or creative ones
- You will teach children with Special Educational Needs, which could be autism, physical disabilities, moderate to severe learning difficulties or communication and interaction difficulties
- You will make lessons and activities accessible and all inclusive
- You will work alongside a welcoming team including support staff and medical staff to ensure the best for your students
- In a day to day role you may need a driving license and your own vehicle to travel to different locations
About you:
- Previous experience with SEN students is preferable, but we will also consider newly qualified teachers for the role
- We want teachers whose personalities shine and can promote the social development of students as well as academic progress
- You will be confident in creating individual lesson plans tailored to the ability of each young person
- Most importantly you will be an encouraging mentor and positive role model!
By joining Teaching Personnel you will be supported throughout your career development. We run termly courses- such as Team Teach and Moving and Handling- which are recognised in schools. You will also have access to our online portal where you can book courses, update your work diary easily and access our Interview and Trial Day Preparation Guide. Pay is weekly and based on skills and experience, teachers are typically paid between £110- £165 per day.
