The Role:

You will be working 1:1 with an autistic child, creating a stimulating and engaging environment for the pupil. You will provide a detailed progress report on a weekly basis and liaise with both senior members of staff and the parents of the pupils.

The School:

This special needs secondary school is located in the borough of Uxbridge. The primary focus of the school is supporting pupils with autism. The school is split into two parts; formal classes and semi-formal classes. In formal classes, students will study GCSEs, BTECH and A-levels. In semi-formal classes the focus is on "Life Skills (how to catch the bus and go to the shops).
