Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Location: Farnham, Aldershot, Camberley, Woking, Guildford

Salary: £83 to £90 per day

The Role: As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties. You will work closely with experienced educators to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
  • Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment.
  • Record and report on student progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced educational setting.
  • Some knowledge of SEN needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
