Special Educational Needs English Secondary Teacher required for SEN School - Cambridge

Small SEN school
We are looking for a SEN Secondary Teacher who can teach GCSE English for students with SEMH and complex medical needs in a specialist secure unit. The school is a specialist secure unit providing education and care to students with some social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) and complex medical needs.
The school is supportive and offers on going support and training in a unique and rewarding environment.
About the Role
- English Teacher
- Planning and Teaching English lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Have experience teaching and supporting pupils with SEMH
- Ability to inspire and engage pupils in their learning
- Uphold all safeguarding procedures and behaviour policies
About the School
- Small specialist SEN provision
- Small staff team including specialist support
- Class sizes are very small
- School offers ongoing CPD
Key Skills
- QTS or extensive teaching experience
- Successful class room teaching experience
- Have previous experience working within a SEN environment or have always wanted to
- Experience of working with pupils with SEMH
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils English
