Temporary Full-Time Spanish Teacher

Location: Bournemouth, United Kingdom

School: A reputable secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to cover lessons on a temporary full-time basis. This exciting opportunity involves teaching key stages 3 and 4, providing students with engaging and dynamic Spanish language instruction.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective Spanish lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and key stage requirements.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' confidence and enthusiasm for learning Spanish.
  • Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their language skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the Modern Foreign Languages department and school community.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessment results.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Specialisation in Spanish language teaching or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Spanish to key stages 3 and 4 students, preferably within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
  • Organizational skills to plan and deliver lessons effectively and manage classroom dynamics.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
