Site Caretaker & Technician – Secondary School (Powys Area)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and committed Site Supervisor & Curriculum Technician to join a welcoming secondary school in the Powys area.

This is a unique and rewarding role that combines site leadership, facilities management, and technical curriculum support—placing you right at the heart of school life.

The Role

As Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, and maintained to a high standard, while also supporting curriculum areas with technical expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting the cleaning and caretaking team
• Maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming school environment
• Managing repairs, maintenance, and overall site presentation
• Supporting health and safety compliance across the site
• Acting as a key holder and responding to occasional out-of-hours issues
• Driving the school minibus when required (training provided)
• Providing technical support to curriculum areas, particularly Design & Technology (approx. 20% of the role), including maintaining equipment and supporting practical lessons

• A full UK driving licence (desirable)
