Senior Administrator
Location: Derby
Salary: £30,014.40 - £33,508.80
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Teaching Personnel have a brilliant opportunity to work with a specialist day school in Derby.
As Senior Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the school, supporting staff, students, and parents while maintaining efficient systems and processes. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the administrative team, ensuring smooth office operations.
- Coordinate key school processes, including admissions, attendance, and compliance.
- Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with strategic planning and data analysis.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and school communications.
- Oversee HR tasks, such as recruitment, onboarding, and staff records.
- Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications/Experience
- Proven experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within an educational setting.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems (e.g., SIMS or Arbor).
- A solution-focused mindset and ability to work under pressure.
- A commitment to upholding the values and ethos of the School.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
