Job description
SEND/SEMH Tutor – 1:1 Tuition (Home & Specialist Provision)
Start Date: September
We are seeking experienced SEND/SEMH tutors to deliver tailored 1:1 tuition for pupils with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. The role involves working either in the pupil’s home or within specialist provisions.
Key Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of the UK curriculum
-
Significant experience working with pupils diagnosed with ADHD, autism, PTSD, and behavioural concerns
-
Ability to travel between venues (car access essential)
-
Qualified Teacher Status desirable; however, a higher degree in a core subject with substantial SEND/SEMH tutoring experience is acceptable
What You’ll Do:
-
Deliver customised lessons tailored to each pupil’s unique needs and learning style

Monitor and record student progress using our specialised cloud-based tracking system, providing regular feedback to promote continuous improvement

Assist with exam preparation, homework support, and overall academic development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
