Job description

SEND Tutor – Bicester | £20–£30 per hour 

Are you a passionate educator who believes every learner deserves a tailored approach to success? We’re seeking a dedicated SEND Tutor to join our team in Bicester, supporting students with a range of additional needs to reach their full potential.

About the Role

You’ll be working with students from EYFS through to Post-16, supporting a variety of SEND needs including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and others. The role involves planning, assessing, and delivering individualised schemes of work designed to meet each learner’s unique educational goals.

Your main focus will be on Maths and English, helping students develop both academic confidence and key life skills. Sessions may take place in schools, learning centres, or within the student’s home environment, depending on the learner’s needs.

Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a minimum of 3 years’ tutoring experience

  • Proven experience supporting students with a range of SEND needs

  • Ability to plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
