SEN Tutor – Witney (Face-to-Face)
Hourly rate: £20–£30 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Flexible / part-time
About the Role
TP-Tutors is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to work with students in Witney and surrounding areas. You’ll provide personalised, high-quality tuition to learners with a range of special educational needs, including anxiety, ADHD, and dyslexia.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to assess, plan, and deliver a tailored programme of learning that meets each student’s individual needs, helping them to build confidence, make progress, and enjoy learning again.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition to students with varying SEN profiles.

Carry out initial assessments and develop a bespoke scheme of work.

Adapt lessons and resources to support different learning styles and needs.

Build strong, positive relationships with students and parents/carers.

Track and report on progress in line with school or local authority expectations.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or minimum 3 years’ tutoring experience.

Experience supporting students with SEN such as anxiety, ADHD, and dyslexia.

Ability to differentiate effectively and create inclusive learning environments.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Reliable, empathetic, and flexible in approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
