SEND Teaching Assistant – Guisborough
Location: Guisborough, North Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-Time / Long-Term
Pay: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Are you an experienced and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting pupils with additional needs? We’re seeking a dedicated individual to join a school in Guisborough, providing 1:1 and small group support for children with Autism and challenging behaviour.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with Autism and challenging behaviour

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to follow individual behaviour and education plans effectively

  • Relevant SEND training or qualifications (desirable but not essential)

  • Valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
