Teaching Personnel is offering an exiting role a KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant in the South Gloucestershire area. As an SEND Teaching Assistant you will have the pleasure of working in a really lovely primary school alongside an excellent team of staff. You will be supporting a year 4 student who has ADHD and on a 1:1 basis. Your day will be broken up with activities within the classroom as well as taking the child out of the class to work on activities tailored to the child. Although their will be a lot of 1:1 support outside the classroom the aim is to build the child's confidence and social skills in order to allow the child to learn independently within the classroom.
The ideal candidate:
- SEN experience is desired however not essential
- Any experience working with children
- Passionate about supporting children's personal and educational development
- Desire to work with primary aged children
Teaching Personnel offer:
