Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £14.25 – £16 per hour

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackburn is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team for the summer term. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them thrive in a mainstream environment.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support, adapt learning materials, and provide one‑to‑one or small‑group interventions. The school values patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to meeting the needs of pupils with SEND.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive staff team, with the potential for a permanent position in September for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
