Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of a number of Special Educational Needs School in the Nottinghamshire area who will require staff in September.

The schools are looking for empathetic and understanding Teachers who can effectively communicate and differentiate based on the needs of their pupils. Pupils are aged betwenn 9-17 years of age and have a wide range of needs including; Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, Autism, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder.

Support required would include ensuring all tasks are accessible and understood by all students. Understanding that each child is unique and requires different levels of support is paramount. Differentiation may include extra information , hand outs, adapted resources and 1:1 support.

Highlights of this position;

  • Pay range dependent on experience (between £90 - £140 per day)
  • Applications encouraged from NQT's and experienced teachers at any stage of the pay-scale
  • Work alongside an effective and highly committed team
  • The successful Teacher will have been teaching across any keystage and have experience with students with Special Educational Needs

Ideal candidate will have;

  • Strong differentiation skills
  • The ability to identify the individual needs of your students
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • A Bachelors Degree
  • QTS
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • An empathetic nature
  • Effective communication
  • The ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
  • English as a subject specialism
  • Maths as a subject specialism
  • Science as a subject specialism
