  • Role: SEN Secondary Teacher (Autism) -  Full time
  • Duration:  Starting March 2021 till July 2021 at a minimum
  • Pay rate: GBP120 - GBP170 Per day (negotiable dependent on experience/training)

Do you have experience as an SEN Teacher working with Autism?

Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN School based in Reading who are looking to appoint a primary SEN Teacher to join them on a full time basis. The successful applicant will have experience of working with autistic pupils, helping to improve learning and development for Key Stage 1 and 2, this will include planning and teaching. You will be required to address each pupil’s individual needs in order to effectively plan accordingly.  As an SEN Teacher you will be working closely with a range of support staff with class sizes of 7 or 8 pupils. The ideal candidate will a genuine passion for working in an SEN environment, Makaton, sensory learning, Team Teach training or any other form of positive behaviour handling is a bonus.

You will have the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status, (NQTs are welcomed)
  • A valid DBS Certificate on the online update subscription service (we can assist with your application)
  • Previous Teaching experience pupils with Special Education Needs, specifically ASC

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
