We are working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Somerset that is seeking a committed and experienced SEN Primary Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with a range of special educational needs
• Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to implement EHCPs and individual learning plans
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary setting
• Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes
• Excellent communication, patience, and resilience
• Understanding of positive behaviour support startegies
• Full Time, Part Time and Flexible applicants will be considered
