SEN Primary Supply Teacher – Somerset
Are you a flexible and passionate SEN Primary Teacher looking for supply work in Somerset?
We are working with a variety of inclusive and supportive primary schools across Somerset. We’re currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic SEN supply teachers to cover short-term and long-term absences, with opportunities available immediately.
Position: SEN Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Somerset
Start Date: Immediate and future opportunities available
Contract Type: Flexible – Daily, short-term, and long-term supply
About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to create the best learning environment possible
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEN pupils in a primary setting
- Strong classroom management and adaptability
- A proactive, compassionate, and resilient approach
- Strong communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
