We are working with a variety of inclusive and supportive primary schools across Somerset. We’re currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic SEN supply teachers to cover short-term and long-term absences, with opportunities available immediately.

Position: SEN Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Somerset

Contract Type: Flexible – Daily, short-term, and long-term supply

About the Role:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to create the best learning environment possible

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with SEN pupils in a primary setting
• Strong classroom management and adaptability
• A proactive, compassionate, and resilient approach
• Strong communication skills
