Job Title: SEND Teacher – Primary Resource Unit
Location: Slough
Contract: Full-Time (5 days per week)
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher to work in the resource unit of a primary school. This role is ideal for someone dedicated to supporting children with high and complex needs, delivering tailored, high-quality education within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes for pupils with complex SEND

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, support staff, and families

  • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

  • Maintain detailed records and contribute to EHCP reviews and reports

  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages development and independence

About You:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience working in SEND or resource unit settings

  • Skilled in supporting children with complex needs, including communication and physical challenges

  • Strong knowledge of SEND frameworks and legislation

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Committed to inclusive education and continuous professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
