Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Slough
Location: Slough
Contract: Full-Time (5 days per week)
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a primary school setting in Slough. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with children who require additional support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with SEN

  • Assist in the delivery of personalised learning plans

  • Support pupils’ access to the curriculum and school activities

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff

  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Assist with the development of pupils’ independence and social skills

About You:

  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school environment

  • Patient, compassionate, and committed to supporting pupils’ needs

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to follow guidance and adapt to individual pupil needs

  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
