SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Location: Slough
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Term Time
Start Date: Immediate
Role via Teaching Personnel 

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established primary school in Slough for a full-time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored, individual support to a child with additional needs in a mainstream school setting.


The Role:

  • Providing one-to-one support to a child with SEN throughout the school day

  • Assisting with classroom activities and delivering personalised learning strategies

  • Supporting the child’s social, emotional, and educational development

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to implement EHCP targets

  • Promoting independence and inclusion within the classroom and school environment


About You:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN, preferably 1:1 support

  • Patient, caring, and reliable with a genuine passion for helping children

  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills with children and adults

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred but not essential)

  • Enhanced DBS or willing to apply for one
