Job Title: SEN Tutor
Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in Surrey, South East England. As an SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a part-time capacity on a temporary basis.
Job Duties:
- Deliver tailored educational support to students with SEN
- Create individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/carers
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
- Implement strategies to enhance learning and development
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- Knowledge of SEN support strategies
Education:
A relevant degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience working in a similar role with students with SEN is essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN requirements and best practises
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs
- Excellent organisational skills
- Patience and empathy when working with students
Working Conditions:
This position is part-time and temporary, with flexible hours. The salary ranges from £20 to £30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The role will involve working closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive support for students with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
