Job description

Flexible SEN Tutoring Careers Available in Ringwood

TP Tutors is looking for motivated Specialist SEN Tutors to support children and young people with additional learning needs throughout Ringwood and nearby areas.

Job Overview

  • Location: Ringwood and surrounding areas
  • Contract Options: Part-time and full-time flexibility
  • Teaching Format: One-to-one in-person tuition

Your Role

As a Specialist SEN Tutor, you will work with learners who may experience challenges linked to Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, or interrupted education. You will provide structured educational support tailored to each learner’s individual circumstances.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and personalised tutoring sessions
  • Create learning plans tailored to individual abilities
  • Motivate students and encourage positive learning habits
  • Monitor educational development and adjust teaching methods
  • Maintain a calm, safe, and productive learning environment
  • Attend tutoring sessions across Ringwood and nearby locations

About You

  • Experience with young people or vulnerable learners is advantageous
  • Suitable for those with backgrounds in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or SEN support
  • Caring, flexible, and professional attitude
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding expectations
  • Access to transport or willingness to travel locally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
