Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: South East England, Berkshire, Reading
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £20 - £30 Per day
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Develop individualised educational plans based on students' needs and abilities.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Education: A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year working directly with SEN students.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of various SEN conditions and their impact on learning.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Effective classroom management techniques.
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time position, working flexible hours.
- May require travel to different locations within the Berkshire area.
- Collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
