SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour.
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' academic and personal development.
- Monitor progress, assess learning outcomes, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic support for students.
Required Qualifications:
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students with SEN.
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practises.
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Experience:
Proven experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN legislation and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in Special Education or SEN.
- Experience using assistive technologies to support learning.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working with students in an educational environment, adhering to the school's timetable and policies. Flexible hours may be required to accommodate students' needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
