GCSE Tutor

Job Duties:

• Provide high-quality tutoring to GCSE students in various subjects.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to individual student needs.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Ensure a supportive and engaging learning environment for students.

Required Qualifications:

• A relevant degree in Education or related field.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
• Previous experience tutoring GCSE students.

Experience:

Prior experience tutoring GCSE students

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional teaching certifications or qualifications.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling.
• Work in a classroom or tutoring centre setting.
• Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a regular basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
