£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Create individualised learning plans to accommodate the specific needs of each student.
• Deliver engaging lessons and activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

Required Qualifications:

• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Specialist training or experience in supporting students with SEN.
• Up-to-date knowledge of SEN policies and best practises.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Experience:

Prior experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and strategies to support them.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Organisational skills to track student progress and adjust plans accordingly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs.
• Experience using assistive technology in the classroom.

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours, typically during school hours.
• Work primarily in school settings or educational institutions.
• Potential for remote teaching or home visits depending on student needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
