SEN Tutor

I’m looking for a tutor/teacher who is able to support a year 5 pupil for 5 hours a week in the NN14 area. This pupil is currently out of education and requires 1-1 support in Maths and English. This pupil lacks motivation to engage with most aspects of the curriculum and is working below expected working level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored teaching and support to students who are temporarily out of mainstream education.
• Work with students with a range of needs, including SEMH and SEN, to support their educational progress.
• Devise a tailored plan with the student to help support their needs, focusing on core subjects.
• Plan and deliver these sessions
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to support the individual needs of students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with students, parents, and other professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
