Flexible SEN Tutor Positions – Hedge End

TP Tutors is expanding its team in Hedge End and is seeking dedicated tutors to provide high-quality, tailored support for students with Special Educational Needs.

This is an opportunity to work in a flexible capacity while supporting learners who benefit from alternative, personalised approaches to education.

Location: Hedge End and nearby areas
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time
Role: SEN Tutor

Key Duties

• Deliver targeted tuition in Maths and/or English based on individual learning plans
• Support students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH and autism
• Adapt lesson delivery to suit different learning styles and abilities
• Create a consistent, supportive environment that encourages engagement
• Help students build confidence, independence, and academic skills

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional needs
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to commute within the Hedge End area
• A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach
• Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education principles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
