Job description

Help Learners Thrive with Tailored Support

TP Tutors is recruiting enthusiastic tutors in Winchester to deliver personalised Maths and English tuition to young people with Special Educational Needs.

This role is ideal for individuals with SEN experience who are looking for flexible, fulfilling work supporting learners on a 1:1 or small group basis.

Position: SEN Tutor (SEND Specialist Opportunities Available)
Location: Winchester and nearby areas
Working Pattern: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time

Your Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, individualised learning sessions
  • Support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
  • Provide a calm, structured, and supportive learning setting
  • Deliver tuition within homes or local community environments
  • Help students build confidence and achieve their personal goals

Requirements

  • Experience supporting SEN/SEND learners
  • Ability to teach Maths and/or English (primary or secondary)
  • Based in Winchester or able to commute locally
  • Empathetic, reliable, and flexible
  • Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
